This unit gives toddlers and preschoolers the opportunity to explore various feelings. This is done through six “feelings babies,” stories, music and movement, and centers. Instructions for sewing your own felt babies and holder are included, but you can also make color prints on cardstock and laminate for durability. If you are including children under three use the toilet paper tube test to make sure nothing is a choking hazard. In addition, a snack can be given during the lessons or the lessons can be done with two very young or special needs children at a time while the remaining participants explore centers.
